Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist at Shortica, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our platform. Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality of our product and the satisfaction of our users, while helping us scale to new heights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for REST APIs using Postman.
• Perform manual testing of REST APIs, focusing on functionality, performance, and security.
• Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues and ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in API design reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of test procedures and results.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• SENIOR-level experience in QA Manual testing, specifically with REST APIs.
• Expert proficiency in testing REST APIs using Postman.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with performance testing tools.
