As a Deployed Engineer - LATAM, you will be the crucial link between Cognition's groundbreaking AI and our customers across Latin America. You'll ensure successful integration and adoption of our AI software engineer, directly impacting user success and gathering vital feedback to continuously refine our product. Responsibilities
- Lead technical onboarding and provide ongoing support to customers adopting Cognition's AI software engineer, Devin.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to AI model performance, integration, and deployment using Python and TypeScript.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate customer feedback into actionable insights and product improvements.
- Develop custom scripts, automation tools, and integration solutions using Python to extend the capabilities of our AI platform for specific customer needs.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, guiding them through best practices for leveraging AI in their software development workflows.
- Contribute to the creation of comprehensive technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
- Proactively identify opportunities for product enhancement and provide strategic recommendations based on deployment experiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in an ML Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar technical role, with a focus on deploying and supporting AI/ML systems.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python for scripting, data manipulation, and integrating AI models.
- Strong practical experience with TypeScript for developing robust web applications or tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of success in customer-facing technical roles, providing hands-on support and driving adoption of complex software.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Fluency in English and professional working proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese (preferably both) to support the LATAM region.
Nice to Have
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) for developing customer-facing tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps principles for AI/ML deployments.
- Background in software engineering, particularly with exposure to large codebases or developer tools.
- Understanding of large language models (LLMs), code generation, or agentic AI systems.
